CHANGES IN WEB STORE PURCHASING REQUIREMENTS

Effective October 7, 2008 we have been forced to significantly tighten our credit card processing security due to increasingly fraudulent activity.  What this means is that before you start the purchasing process you absolutely must have all of the exact credit card billing information to supply.  If you are not sure about the billing address and security information for your credit card, get it before attempting to order otherwise the processing will not be successful. 

 

The customers most affected by the new environment will be our international customers.  The likelihood of a failed purchased attempt is now significantly increased for these because of the difficulty of verifying international credit card information.   For those customers who are having problems getting an order processed we will need to process the information manually.  To do this we will need to receive via email, phone, or fax the credit card type, number, expiration date, issuing bank, name on card, billing address of card, billing phone number associated with card, and card security number (on back of card).  WE WILL THEN CONTACT THE ISSUING BANK TO VERIFY THAT THE SUPPLIED INFORMATION IS CORRECT.   If it does not exactly match we will not be able to process the order.  If we are unable to contact the issuing bank or get the required information from the issuing bank we will not be able to process the order.  Please do not supply information that you are not sure of, it is a waste of your time and ours.

NEWS RELEASE -- May 14, 2007

CHANGES IN INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING RATES

Effective May 14, 2007 the U.S. postal service has eliminated the economy shipping methods of surface parcel post and air parcel post.  We no longer have an economy shipping service available for international shipments.  The U.S. postal service was the last source for this kind of relatively low cost service.  The lowest cost options we now have are priority post and express post.  In order to determine the international shipping charges for your order you will need to do the ordering process until the final order page that appears before the payment page.  We are not able to quote for each individual order via email.  In general Canada customers purchasing a pedal unit  or system can expect the shipping charge to start at approximately 15 percent of the product price.  All other international destinations can expect it to start at approximately 25 percent of the pedal unit or system price.  Any applicable import taxes are additional to be paid to the local authorities upon taking delivery.
